... Why We Decided to Create the Starlight Initiative

The Starlight Initiative is an idea that has been sitting in our mind for a very long time, since the first day we've established this business.

The idea behind is simple: Achieving your dream and reaching financial and employment independence should not be this hard. It should not cost us our mental health. It should not force us to drive ourselves into burnout. It should not be 80hr workweeks and countless hours of exploring in the darkness.

This is not 1950s. We're living in the 21st century where owning a business is nothing new and entrepreneurship is in everyone's vocabulary. Then, why is it we are still repeating the frustration and stress of starting a business, to the point unethical predators could take advantage of our overwhelming emotions and scam us into so-called Guru courses that upsell superficial knowledge that, from the very beginning...

...should have been accessible without any cost to anybody wanting to take the entrepreneurship route?

Core Pillars

The Starlight Initiative consists five core pillars. They're designed based on the experience of ourselves and our business friend, as well as the complaints we've heard through daily interactions with the entrepreneur community.

Networking Opportunities

Connecting and pivoting is the new path to success, but not all networking events are made the same.

Someone has to say it. So many networking events are more redundant than efficient. People are not really there to build relationships. It turns into a "you should follow up with me" powerplay, when in reality, many people are simply going through other things in life that sometimes they get overwhelmed with all the tasks.

So we want to create events designed with your real life and wellbeing in mind. When connection falls through cracks, us, the event host, will make sure you get the info you need to make that outreach again, backed by an exclusive group allowing you to find the lost connections in a far more communicative and fast-paced environment, than the old email and calling way.

Peer Support Community & Business Mentorship

This is not some business inspiration group. This is a real community with real people.

Judgment, bias and hatred has no place in this Facebook + Discord interconnective community. Need a place to rant? We've got it. Have random questions to ask? Come over here. Want to share cute fur baby pictures? Yes, please!

Seriously, talk about whatever you want, whatever you need. Make friends and find mentors. Form support groups and take your communication beyond our program. Whatever you need to do — you have our 100% support for that.

The members of Starlight Initiative will receive free resources regularly through an exclusive mailing list. These include latest tools for content planning, digital marketing knowledge eBooks, business opportunity roundups... Basically, goodies we come across and think would be beneficial for you.

On top of that, you still have access to our public-facing Learning Center. Education should not be a luxury, and we mean that.

Digital Marketing Foundation

We're not trying to cover up — we are a content marketing agency and we're here to educate you while proving the value of our services at the same time.

But you don't need to work with us or hire us in the end. We sincerely believe that you should have access to foundational digital marketing knowledge because it's impossible to survive without it nowadays. Therefore, we've put together some free training materials, including hands-on webinars and workshops, to help you get started.

We are regularly looking for small business owners, freelancers, and other professionals to be featured. Why? Because what's more inspirational than true stories from our neighbors? During those hard days, motivational quotes or your favorite LinkedIn influencer's post can only do that much. But a real-life person who came from rock bottom telling you it's going to be okay would sound a whole lot different.

The What If We Wanted to Make True

Running your own show is difficult enough. Finding support and having your questions answered should not be a part of that difficulty. As an immigrant-owned company, we know all about the struggle. Isolation, distress, and confusion... It took us a long time, doing a lot of things we're not comfortable with, to get to where we are today, and we know we still have a long way to go.

Some will say... "Well if I can do it, why can't others?"

But this is what we want to say:

It sucked.

Starting off without support sucked. Not knowing where to seek help sucked. The fact anything authoritative and truly helpful cost a hefty investment sucked. Not having families here in this country definitely sucked. Being sick but having to work because we started out a solopreneur sucked...

So even if it's just for a little bit, we want to take that burden away from others.

We don't want you suffer and struggle the way we did. Because why would we? And why should you?

Together, we can be the solution we've always wanted.
