The name Westerlund came from one of the brightest young star clusters in the universe. Because we often work with businesses who are still young to the digital marketing game, and we believe that we can all shine like superstars, we decided to have some fun when we first established the company.

For too long we've been talking about digital marketing in a scientific way and forgetting that, just like traditional word-of-mouth, fundamentally, it is human relationships driving a business to success.

Heading into the second half of 2021, we've been making a lot of changes to how we approach marketing and branding in general, both for our clients and ourselves. While we heavily focus on B2B marketing, our expertise also flows into the B2C world.

When asked about the company's focus, the founder agreed that, besides continuing to scale and grow, the team also wants to give more back to the business community that has been supportive of their ventures this whole time.

To help businesses new to the digital game starting off with the right foot, the company has kick-started the Starlight Initiative - learning, mentoring, and networking program for like-minded professionals to grow stronger together.
